Meeru Maldives Resort Island

We stayed in the Ocean Villas which were fantastic. Really large and high end rooms. The lights on the water at night attracted loads of sharks and fish which were amazing to watch. The food was also exceptional. The buffet food, Asian Wok and The Reef restaurant were especially good. The water spa treatments were also excellent. The food service staff were all very friendly. It was booked for my partners birthday, and they made it really special by decorating the room, giving her a cake etc which was really great.

The prices of on-island things are extortionate, which is a real shame. 2 Dives for 2 people came to nearly 650 USD. The mandatory 45 minute return boat journey from Male is an extra $420 per couple. Night snorkelling, which was just swimming in the bay (20 meters away from the beach, in 1m deep water) cost $130. Beers are $14 each, though I assume this is similar everywhere in the Maldives. The high prices while there could really put me off returning.

They ruined everything after they took extra fee for my child 4 year old of $5151.77.We were there 22 nights and they were waiting last night on our last night in the meeru 9 hours before our speed boat back to airport to tell us that we need to pay huge fee for the child stay of 4 year old while booking already charged us child stay fee for 1 year old, that fee is not free, that fee is also big for 1 year old child that booking automatically charges and we paid that to booking already and then they say that we have to pay meeru extra $5151.77 for 22 nights for the difference between child stay between 1 year old child and 4 year old child.One word,robbery.I will never come to meeru again and good luck to those who do.I will never see their robbery faces again and only this makes me glad after I witnessed their robbery.

I witnessed the biggest robbery, see my big review on booking about Meeru and you will understand what I am talking about.They say the difference between 1 year old and 4 year old for 22 nights is $5.151.77 even after booking already for 22 nights charged me automatic fee for 1 year old child instead 4 year old. Reservation team of meeru claims booking is more cheap and official prices of meeru are more expensive?What?How is that possible?We all know it should be the opposite because Meeru has to pay percentage to booking when someone makes reservations via booking.So how can booking be cheaper than official meeru prices?I witnessed the biggest robbery in meeru and I am happy I will never see their faces again.Massive robbery.

Our stay at Meeru Maldives Resort Island was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. The overwater villa was spectacular, especially at night when we could watch colorful fish, rays and even small sharks directly from our terrace. It felt like a real-life aquarium and was better than any movie. The island itself is beautiful, very clean and perfectly maintained. The beaches and turquoise water are simply breathtaking. The staff was very friendly, professional and always helpful. The food was excellent with a great variety and very good quality. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely recommend Meeru to anyone visiting the Maldives.

Honestly, there was very little to complain about. The only thing worth mentioning is that the total price becomes quite expensive once taxes and additional fees are added. However, the overall experience, service and location were truly world-class and made the stay very special.

Es wäre bei den Preisen angebracht, den Bootstransfer vom Flughafen zum Resort im Preis zu inkludieren oder den Transfer einiges günstiger zu verkaufen als dass das momentan getan wird.

Уникално място, уникален остров с уникални плажове. Много добра организация при посрещане и отвеждане до летилетището. На рецепция персоналът е отзивчив и любезен. Храната е много вкусна и разнообразна.

Препоръчах на комплекса да раздават малки преносими пепелници с цел запазване на плажовете чисти от фасове. Всичко беше на ниво.
