"Waste of Time & Money"

BEWARE -By far one of the worst Hotel.com experiences I've had. I booked the room and once I get there to check in, THEN they tell me that they there is a $100 Security Deposit required. I DO NOT recall seeing that on there description at all or I wouldnt have booked it. Not only Is it a REQUIREMENT to make this deposit with a major credit card or brick and mortar bank card, but also you CANT make this deposit in cash! Who doesn't take cash? I requested that if I made the deposit could I get that back in cash at check out so I don't have to wait 7-10 days for it to post back to my account. Of course that was not an option. The lady running the front desk was not only snobby but downright hateful. She didn't offer to help in any way so basically I paid for a room and they kept my money and I had to go somewhere else and get a room. So $250 later I found a room 14 miles away. Hotels.com also didn't offer any help. No thanks, no nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Breakfast was good. Checkin lady was very friendly and helpful. She was on her first week and went out of her way. I was assigned a dirty room at first, and she fixed that quickly.

Was charged the full incidental ($100) for "heavy smoke odor". I did NOT smoke in the room, I even booked a more expensive room in order to have a balcony, exactly for that purpose. But how does one disprove a smell?! They probably saw an empty pack in the trash can and figured they could make a buck. Never staying here again.

Our room was clean, bathrooms were clean. The hotel and rooms are VERY dated. The bed was hard and we didn’t sleep well. The staff were excellent.

"Close to Downtown"

This hotel/motel was clean and comfortable. Some rooms had balconies and some had outside access. Ours had neither. Front desk workers were friendly. Breakfast was ok, but had limited choices. It was quiet for being close to a main road. If you want to be close to Jonesborough, and not pay a fortune, this is the place.
