OYO The Chiltern Hotel

The first room we had was quite up to date, brand new bathroom, and had good air con.

The sheet had a large stain on (looked like blood) which the cleaners would have definitely seen as they put it on the bed, but the receptionist moved us rooms with no issues.

No shelf or even a hook in the bathroom .

Price was ok staff were friendly

Couldn't have bed lambs on without main light being on. No hair dryer, that was stated would be in room. The amenities were obviously not refilled properly, no coffee there Dear god the noise from outside all night!!! should of realised that when booking it myself but you need to kinda remind people before they book that the traffic outside is gunna be all night. Its was not the cleanest - it was surface level be done clean

The location was really convenient for Whipsnade The air con was lovely

Fire alarm went off during the night No do not disturb sign No hairdryer in room

The bar staff was very lovely

Too much noise from the road

I like the location, the fact there is parking included in the booking. The hotel is currently under renovation which appears to be managed well in terms of less disruption to guests.

The mattress was thin.
