Beautiful grounds. Beautiful room. Bed wasn’t very comfortable & I didn’t fancy the menu either. But overall I did really like the hotel and the hotel room.

"Convenient and welcoming"

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The evening meal and breakfast were both very good. My only criticism was that the mattress was starting to sag in the middle which meant my sleep was a bit less sound than it might have been.

Overall the stay was ok. Although the room wasn't the cleanest I've stayed in with stains on the bed and hairs in the bathroom. TV was way too small for the size of the room and the shower just trickles which was probably the most disappointing part. The bed however was very comfortable. It's also worth noting that the doors are locked at night and you have to ring wake someone up anytime after 11 if I'd of known this beforehand I wouldn't of stayed as I struggled to get back in after I'd finished working that evening. Highly frustrating.

"Wedding anniversary romantic break "

Lovely hotel and good service, COVID 19 control measures taken very seriously. Rooms very nice disappointed about the beds. Mattress so uncomfortable most probably the worst nights sleep we’ve ever had.
