Avila Lighthouse Suites

Loved it here. As a family of 4 (two teens) having a large two bedroom suite was wonderful. Kids had their own room with separate beds, and we had our own room. The patio overlooking the pool and ocean was incredible- we even saw dolphins! I loved being on the second floor. This property is perfect for families with young children, but it was still great for us based on room size and location. The staff at check in were friendly and kind. Full breakfast in the morning, and great access to the beach and shops! Would love to stay here again and would absolutely recommend to others.

Perfect location! I have stayed here before and will definitely come back. The location could not be better; the room is spacious, clean, and very comfortable; the breakfast is excellent - a lot of options. The grounds and common spaces are beautiful and make for a peaceful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Avila lighthouse suites. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was quite roomy. We had an ocean view and it was spectacular, we enjoyed the lounge chairs and table outside. The breakfast was also very tasty and my kiddos had so much fun in the pool. We loved it! Will return here again.

We had a beachfront room, it was well appointed. the staff from reception to housecleaning were friendly and helpful if needed. Morning breakfast was great, the real thing, not boxed cereal or stale donuts! We will definitely return. It was an awsome birthday stay....

We’ve stayed at Avila Lighthouse multiple times over the last 20 years. It is always predictably an enjoyable, relaxing and above par experience. Their staff acts happy to have you, the rooms are so thoughtfully designed and spacious and they make it an enjoyable experience with children. Love falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, love their beverage options in the lobby and love the design of the hotel. Would recommend time and time again.

Really love this hotel however, we couldn’t enjoy having our slider open due to neighbors smoking on their balcony every 2 or so hours

We only spent one night in Avila. We were coming from Morro Bay and Paso Robles after a few days of wine tasting. It was beautiful summer weather in March. Our room had a great view and the hotel is right on the water. It came with complementary breakfast, which was decent. The hotel is very centrally located and we just walked to dinner in the evening. We’ve stayed in several places on the central coast but this was the first time in Avila Beach. We really enjoyed our time and our stay at this hotel and we will probably be back. The only somewhat negative was that it did seem a little pricey, for what it was compared to other hotels of the same or similar price.
