The Surfside Hotel

Very nice spring getaway. The room was comfortable with high end touches. We had a first floor king bed with a direct ocean view and a raised patio that helped block the breezes. The Little Pub that is attached has good food and is very convenient. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Overall good but the hotel was almost empty off season in late march . I wonder how noisy is the room during the season because the sound isolation isn’t good… Very good beds and the bathroom may need a remodel but was very clean.

Small rooms

The Surfside was a treat to stay in compared to the chain hotels which were recommended to me by the company I was visiting. The room was modern and clean, clean, clean! The beds were very comfortable. Everyone was friendly. I didn't select a beach facing room and if I return to the area I probably would because it would make the stay that much better. This was off season so there wasn't much happening around the area. But a leisurely walk along the beach wall after work was so relaxing. Tons of shells on the beach and I took some beautiful ones home. I rode the beach cruiser bikes Saturday morning after check out. I used the Peloton in the gym and that was my first experience. Fun! The Little Pub restaurant has good food and a good atmosphere with views of the water. The bathrooms are modern but they did leave the original bathtubs. The water pressure is amazing. Unfortunately, the shower has a half glass door and with that extreme water pressure I soaked the floor each time. If I had to change anything I would suggest full glass doors in the shower. Otherwise, I highly recommend staying at the Surfside.

Even though we went in the off season we had a great time. The rooms are adorable and the attached bar/restaurant is nice too. Staff was great and there were really nice and thoughtful touches all throughout.

No one was there to help us get into our room. Electric car charger never worked. Water had an odd smell/taste when first turned on Shower head very minimal; sink tiny.

What a unique property. The rooms are well decorated and the location is so cool! A hidden gem for sure!!!
