Spinnakers Brewpub & Guesthouses

The house is really old, plumbing did not work, the toilet wouldn’t flush properly and the sink wouldn’t drain. Lovely setting though.

The grounds are beautiful and well tended. The pub features a wonderfully varied menu that even has selections for folks who have to avoid gluten, and offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening pub fare! The rooms are an older vintage; impeccably clean and soaking in the tub at the end of a very busy few days was luxury!!!

The jetted tub filled with dirty water from the tap. Apparently, the hot water heater has issues with sediment collecting and being released down the pipe and out into the tub & sink. The staff was very appologetic and did provide a refund. My question is: if this is a known problem, why rent out the room until the problem is fixed? So much for a romantic weekend getaway. I guess I'll just have to sum it up with "better luck next time".

Great place - it has it all - great location with easy walking access via an oceanfront path to downtown, good room with Victorian vibes, and incredible food!! Best fish and chips I’ve ever had along with an incredible selection of craft beers and ciders. The baked goods and home made chocolates were a nice surprise! Great value for money!

The check in was awesome! The clerk let us check in 3 hrs early ! Awesome.. it all went downhill from there The parking behind the guesthouse is very small and no room to park more than 3 vehicles I was in a Mini Cooper and had issues The room promised at jet tub and wood burning fireplace. Not wood burning I asked the girl who was still there cleaning other rooms and found out no Wood only gas . Ok carry on .. go out for the evening come back to have jet tub .. the water was brown and disgusting I took pics then I go to start my gas fireplace and nope ! That don’t work I was told there were ironing boards in the rooms when I called and told there was I had a half tabletop iron hoard that would not stay up and no table to put it on !!!! Took pics of that as well We had a function that started early in morning and ran till quite late so no one at main store/pup to talk to about these things 2nd and last night I get to my room to find someone else’s makeup in my bathroom?? And a blood stain in my sheets .. more pictures taken Not the cozy heritage house I was looking forward to!

Nice food and service

Really enjoyed my stay at this property. I had a second level room with a balcony. I loved being able to open the doors to the balcony snd have fresh air. My room was very small but cozy and quaint. Food at the Brewpub was excellent! Staff was wonderful!
