Hotel Kutuma

Place was super clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Fantastic place.

It's not downtown but easily reachable.

We just returned from our 25th anniversary trip to Montreal. Hotel Kutuma is a real gem: delightful staff, well-appointed and clean rooms, and excellent location (reminded us of the Marais District in Paris). Adam took care of every need, anticipating everything. Well priced and good value, especially compared to antiseptic, pricey chains. This is a beautiful family/run business.

Very comfortable with good amenities.

The only thing that maybe problematic was the lack of a lift.

Didn’t feel like a real hotel. No real reception, slightly run down. No breakfast option. There is no way that this is a real 4-star hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Kutuma! The location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to explore in Montreal, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing. The boutique, personal feel of the hotel made it truly special. Adam at the front desk went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. He greeted us with coffee and croissants, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long journey. He helped us navigate the train system, shared plenty of helpful local tips, and genuinely took an interest in what we had planned during our visit. His hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. Hotel Kutuma exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal. We can’t wait to come back!

The entire suite was absolutely stunning from the sunken yub to the lit up king bed to the newly renovated bathrooms

Maybe my only minor critique is that there is no lift

Very comfortable space - we appreciated the attention to the ambience in the room upon our arrival. The greeting staff were accommodating and polite and stored our bags until the room was ready. We enjoyed the comfort of our room, the bed and pillows were wonderful (one soft pillow and one hard pillow 😊) and the windows were able to be opened! I can't say enough about this hotel - great location, walking distance to many restaurants, but far enough away from noise and the busier downtown area. We will definitely stay again if we visit Montreal.
