Staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful: totally committed to serving the customer. The African and Ethiopian themed decor is absolutely beautiful and interesting. The owners are continuously improving the decor and functionality of rooms. The location is superlative with easy access to vibrant Rue St Denis and Metro stops. Complimentary coffee, croissants, orange juice, butter and jam delivered to your room each morning. To top it off, you can walk downstairs for a terrific Ethiopian dinner at the Blue Nile.

Na een lange autoreis kwamen we aan bij Hotel Kutuma, en nog voor het inchecken werd ons gevraagd: “Voor we inchecken, willen jullie na deze lange reis eerst koffie en een croissant?” De mensen hier zijn ongelofelijk vriendelijk en oprecht gastvrij. Het restaurant is bovendien echt een aanrader: het eten was heerlijk, met veel aandacht bereid. Het bed lag fijn, de badkamer was ruim en modern. Kortom: echt een aanrader. Hier voel je je direct prettig.

This review is to reflect the experience of the violation after having an overnight bag & rain jacket stolen from our valeted car during our hotel stay. The car, confirmed by the hotel as being kept in a private lot, was not broken into, the back windows were fully tinted and these items were also hidden and in no way visible. Only someone with both access to our car keys and with knowledge these items were being left in car could have taken them. Personal responsibility taken for having them left at all (the hotel has many stairs and it seemed unnecessary to worry about bringing in a wet jacket and dirty laundry from earlier parts of our trip)- but gross behavior regardless by someone on the staff.

We were offered a suite room and this was incredible. Large room equipped with everything you could need for your stay, even a kitchenette and exit onto a private balcony. The bathroom was very luxurious and the bed was giant! All of the staff went over and beyond to make our stay pleasant. You can order food from the restaurant below (same owners) via room service and it is really worth trying. Ethiopian food is so delicious, and the presentation a work of art. This place is definitely a hidden gem!
