Staff very friendly, always so happy to help,great location in the town centre with parking ,lovely and clean

Very old building and quite dated inside, rooms quite basic , breakfast was only ok. Quite dry. And not the hottest food

"Last minute booking on NC500 trip, good enough but slightly overpriced for what was offered"

Central location, easy walk to local bars etc

No net curtains on windows, towels were scratchy, breakfast looked like it had been made for opening at 6:30am and left all morning. TVs were basic freeview and reception was poor, no soap in the bathroom and hard to use shower gel etc as not affixed to the wall

Great location and wonderful staff. Super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and we had a great night's sleep. The location was also excellent. There is a bus stop outside the hotel where the main buses ran for main attractions in the area. Also, the breakfast was superb!

The only thing I would perhaps suggest is that from our room we could hear noises from the adjacent rooms. Sadly, I'm a very light sleeper so I get woken up by the slightest noise. So if you're a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs with you! Other than that, it was all good. Also, the heating was a big too high during our first night but the second night, the temperature in our room was perfect!

"Not What I Expected, But Good Enough for a Short Stay"

- Really nice and helpful staff - Room was basic but comfortable

- Food was ok but limited options as they only had carvery available - The breakfast was all fried and limited healthy options or continental breakfast - Based on online reviews I had higher expectations and I felt a bit let down - Quite expensive for what you got (especially the breakfast)
