Aeolos Hotel

Aeolos var väldigt modernt och servicen var väldigt bra. Personalen var väldigt trevliga. Hotellet ligger i ett lugnare område utanför all turism i centrala Skopelos stad. Bra gång avstånd till staden och restaurangerna. Också nära till busshållplatsen där vi varje dag åkte till olika stränder. Rekommenderar Hovolo Beach starkt. Skönt att svalka sig i poolen när man kom tillbaka från stränderna och den korta promenaden. God frukost. Mycket att välja på och bra variation dag till dag.

Noizy room. No early brekfast............................

The hotel had a nice view to the town of Skopelos! The breakfast was quite good, but the bathroom was smelling strange after taking a shower.

it was very easy to find and get to from the port where we got off the ferry. The hotel was clean and we were given a top floor room as requested. My only complaint would be that the check in person did not give us information about island activities or a map. It was nice to have the pool and pool bar. It was a close walk on a sidewalk to the town to have our meals.

The Aeolos is an amazing Hotel for the price. The staff could not be more helpful particularly the receptionists and breakfast chef. I was slightly concerned having read reviews of unclean rooms and problems with the shower when we arrived. On the first morning there was an issue with no hot water and the shower would not attach to the wall. The hot water was a technical issue for that morning for everyone and resolved and the receptionist had the shower fixed the same day. The room apart from that was excellent clean, air con was good, we had sea view room would recommend rooms 201-212 and 301-312 especially as the balcony gets the sun all afternoon even if it is windy by the pool. When you approach the hotel the water in the pool looks dirty and brown, it is not dirty the tiles in the pool unfortunately make it look like that when the water is actually perfectly clear, something unfortunate with the way the light works with the black specks in the pool tiles. Breakfast was great too, ask chef for fried eggs if you do not like the boiled ones they supply. Reasonable selection of fruit and pastries etc. but yes the little sausages they supply are awful but bacon fried eggs and toast with good selection of teas all fantastic. I was not expecting much from the breakfast but was really pleasantly surprised.

the hotel was a classical professional type bussiness. It had no character but comfort. The poll is nice but I cannot I understand why people use it when you have one of the most beautifuls beaches on this island! it was also not a good price to value relation. You just pay for the fact of being in a hotel that has a good standard but it has no special character. professional designers made it look nice but not memorable!

L'hotel è carino ed è molto comoda la sua posizione per la vicinanza al porto di Skopelos e alla cittadina. Il mare davanti all'hotel non è certamente il migliore dell'isola, ma per chi non fosse in possesso di un auto è comunque una possibiltà di balneazione. Il servizio di pulizia è molto efficiente, la colazione buona anche se non molto variegata. Unico neo: la tenda della doccia che, essendo troppo corta, fa sì che l'acqua fuoriesca dappertutto e il bagno finisce per essere allegato. Il personale di servizio alla reception è molto cordiale.

Very friendly and hospitable people. The room was very comfortable and the view was great.

This was our 6th visit to the Aeolos. As always Marina and her staff made sure everything was perfect.
