Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, sodass man alles zu Fuß machen kann, nur für entfernte Punkte braucht man Bus oder Bahn. Das Zimmer sehr groß und immer ordentlich. Das Personal ist mit Ausnahmen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Von daher eine Empfehlung…..aber

Bei der Anreise stellten wir fest, dass der Eingangsbereich umgebaut wird und eine provisorische Rezeption eingerichtet war, auch sonst war alles beengt. Es wäre gut gewesen, wenn wir darauf hingewiesen worden wären. Empfangen wurden wir von einem sehr hochnäsigen Herren am Empfang, der auch noch fürchterlich undeutlich und schnell gesprochen hat. Wir mussten mehrfach nachfragen. Zudem war es unter seiner Würde uns zu erklären wo was ist ( Fitness, Pool usw). Obwohl wir mit Frühstück gebucht hatten + 15$ für Services, buchte er uns nur 50$ fürs Frühstück gut. Dies in DC für 2 Personen. An einem Tag gab es gar kein Frühstück und wir sollten irgendwo frühstücken gehen erklärte uns eine Dame, an einem anderen Tag warteten wir fast 1h auf das Frühstück. Ticketprobleme! Beim Check out, korrigierte ein netter Herr sehr bemüht unsere Rechnung auf die Summe der ursprünglichen Buchung. Danke dafür…

I appreciated the courtesy extended by all staff. They professionally worked through the discomfort of having to route quests to the second floor as renovations were ongoing.

It was an overall positive experience. Wishing staff and management the best with completing the renovations.

The room was very spacious, beautiful and clean!

We received the information at check-in in a very rushed and confusing manner. It would be much more helpful if key details were also provided in writing or placed in the room, such as the swimming pool location, breakfast information, and opening hours. The information regarding breakfast credits was also unclear, and we were left confused about how they could be used. While the staff member who checked us in was professional, his demeanor felt overly stern and unwelcoming (the “I hate my job” face). A warmer and more approachable attitude would have greatly improved the experience.
