Grand Hotel Tritone

I LOVE THIS PLACE! We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of August and are still raving about our stay. It was absolutely incredible. Before we even left we talked about how we have to return. It's stunning. I think the thing we loved most about Tritone was the private beach club! We absolutely loved hanging out here and relaxing and swimming. The staff at the beach club are friendly and make amazing drinks. It was so perfect to have this instead of trapsing to Positano for a beach club. The staff here are lovely and so accommodating and helpful. They were always there when you needed them. The room was perfectly adequate for our stay and had a private balcony with a gorgeous view of Positano and a view from our shower which was so fun. It was super clean and had everything we needed. The location of the hotel is close to Positano and actually has a bus stop right in front of it which we unfortunately didn't discover until the second to last day but would have made things a lot less expensive than taking a private transfer! The hotel also has a free transfer to the town of Praiano which we took advantage of one night. The hotel is so gorgeous and so are the grounds. I love how they kept all the windows open and as you walked by you could feel a delightful breeze. Since it is up high there are so many stunning view from around the property. I really can't say enough good things about Tritone. I cannot wait to come back here. It was the highlight of our 3 weeks in Italy!

The most breathtaking spot we have ever vacationed! The property is well-maintained, very clean, and inviting at every level. The staff were friendly, accommodating and accessible. The food quality was outstanding and the value was as you would expect from a higher-end resort. On the negative side, we were quite disappointed upon check-in, when our accommodation was not at all up to our expectations. We had booked a junior suite based on the photos and descriptions represented on the hotel’s website. The “suite” we were assigned was anything but. It was a small, cramped room, with no lounge chairs on the deck, no tub, one sink, and nothing at all like what was advertised. Fortunately, we were able to get moved to a more suitable room, but that was not a good way to start our stay. From a value perspective, at this price, I would’ve expected the amenities to be on a higher level. The tissues provided were nothing more than single sheets of toilet tissue in a box, there were two cans of water provided at check-in and never replaced, and the water pressure in the shower was dreadfully inadequate. While I would encourage the hotel to address these shortcomings, they were not insurmountable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The most spectacular views , wonderful staff , 2 pools at upper cliff level and one at sea level , and elevator to their private sun chairs on the water , water taxis for a fee to Positano. Fabulous property. A delicious breakfast included as well. Note : Water access however not at a sandy area - must jump into the water from a ladder. Small beach one can swim to easily but it’s somewhat rocky like most Amalfi beaches. Float pool noodles provided to swim in the sea. It was wonderful.

Simply amazing. Gorgeous hotel all around! The staff is extremely helpful, hard working friendly and welcoming! They did everything to make sure our stay was special and helped arrange transportation, a boat day and dinner reservations. The views are unbelievable. Can’t wait to visit again someday!

I want to start by saying that we have been coming to the Grande Hotel Tritone since 2019 and it is a beautiful property. A beautiful private beach, amazing rooms, with amazing views! The staff is warm and professional and this year, they went above and beyond when my tooth broke and I had a dental emergency. They were quick to help find a dentist and bring me there and back. I highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing hotel

WOW! what an experience, not just a hotel, they have it covered from every detail to make this a 5 star vacation! Loved staying in Praiano instead of Positano. Much quieter and easy access wtih the water taxi that the hotel will arrange to take you into town. Also free shuttle into Praiano. Can't wait to come back!

The room was very clean and bright. The view from every angle of the hotel was spectacular. The breakfast was delicious and wide choice of different food. The staff were very friendly , helpful and professional.
