The location is great, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean. The jewel in the crown for this hotel is the swimming pool and the view which is amazing. Parking was really useful too, but it is now €20 a day.

It is very dated. It has hardly changed since it was built in 1960 and whilst there is a charm about stepping back in time, I think it was more about cost, than about preserving it in its original state. The bathroom was tiny and hadn’t been updated at all, the shower cubicle was so small if you dropped something there was barely room to pick it up. On our last morning the drains smelled strongly of sewage and the whole room stank but running the shower and taps helped. We made friends with another couple and they left a day early because of the smell in their room. The mattresses and pillows were rock hard and I found them uncomfortable. One very small lift to service the entire hotel which worked fine but was very old and rickety. Breakfast was Ok but the coffee wasn’t good, it tasted like it had come from a cafeteria machine - Italians are famous for their coffee, it was a let down not to have good coffee. I looked up what makes a hotel 4 star and on paper it ticks the boxes but sadly it is not luxurious and is more 2-3. Even the sign at the front is rusty and barely readable. But oddly I have a lot of love for this grand hotel, I hope it has some serious money spent on it and significant updates in keys areas as it would be a loss for it to go.

Гостиница возвышаеися над центральной частью города. Потрясяющие виды с огоной терассы чсть которой в тени весь день и часть под сонцемю Все основнве достопримечательности в пешей доступности. Номер просторный с удобными кроватями. У гостиницы небольшоя стоянка с услугой парковщика за 20 евро в сутки.

Главный недостаток крошечная ваннаяэ не проветриваемая и с душевой абинкой в которую струдом можно втиснуться. Так как гостиница на возвышенности каждое возвращение вгору и это нужно учитывать если есть проблемы со здоровьем.

Outstanding views and the pool was a great retreat for the afternoon. We also enjoyed the arrangement with the sister hotel to enjoy the beach. A shout out the staff who were amazing.

Wir hatten dieses Hotel für einige Nächte gebucht, um diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung und natürlich Taormina zu besuchen. Das Hotel liegt nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Corso Umberto bei der Porta Catania entfernt (der Rückweg zum Hotel ist ziemlich steil bergauf). Wir hatten Zimmer 73 mit einer Riesen-Terrasse mit Meeresblick und direkten Blick auf den Ätna. Auch auf der Frühstücksterrasse waren Ätna und Meer zu sehen. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bietet einen fast schon aristokratischen Stil - aber sehr gepflegt und sauber. Swimming Pool und Parkplatz direkt in der Hotelanlage. Strand mit Schirm und Betten bei einem Partnerhotel im Preis enthalten. Wir mussten schweren Herzens nach 5 Nächten wieder abreisen.

מיקום מאוד נוח. יש חניה במקום. ארוחת בוקר מספקת כוללת מאפים, מיצי פירות, ביצים, גבינות ומעט ירקות. צוות מאוד נחמד ושרותי. יש למלון חוף פרטי שנמצא במרחק נסיעה (או הליכה ארוכה) ושייך למלון אחר של הרשת. המלון גם מספק הסעות בתשלום.

המלון עצמו קצת ישן, אבל מדובר בעיר עתיקה.

מיקום קרוב למדרחוב, ירידה קצרה, אך גם עלייה... מרפסת לארוחת הבוקר עם נוף לאתנה ולמפרץ - פשוט מושלם. יחס מצויין של הצוות עם בריכה להתרעננות. חניה במקום 20 יורו.

חדרים קצת קטנים, אך עם פיצוי של מרפסת צמודה לנוף. חדר אמבטייה קצת קטן ומיושן.

The views from our room were amazing as were the views from the breakfast Terrace and around the swimming pool area. The small team of staff were always friendly and helpful. The choice of breakfast was good at the buffet each morning. We liked the old-fashioned charm of the hotel. We had a lovely relaxing time.

Estuvimos alojados durante 5 días en la habitación 86. Todo perfecto. En mi opinión uno de los mejores hoteles de Taormina. Hotel vintage. Muy buen desayuno. Excelente piscina. Posibilidad de Shuttle a la playa. Parking cómodo (pago). Todo el equipo nos hizo sentir como si estuviéramos en casa. Me gustaría hacer una mención especial a Rosario (manager), es la combinación perfecta de Arrigo Sacchi (disciplinado y metódico), Fabio Capello (centrado y directo) y Carlo Ancelotti (muy trabajador y padre de todos). Sin duda volvería a este hotel.
