The cleaning of the rooms is a disaster. They forget several days to renew the towels, The used towels are taken but no new towels are put in place, they forgot to refill the shower liquids 2 days consecutively. The swimmingpool is overcrowded. So no chance to get a free chair if you are not in time before noon. There is some ‘backspace’ at the swimmingpool but it is really not hygienic at all. The bathroom is very narrow to take a shower. Waiting for a cappuccino in the morning at breakfast is a challenge. We have been in several hotels and guesthoused in Franschhoek but this one is really no value for money. The first time I need to review this negative. Family Robrechts Belgium

Very stylish hotel and big comfortable rooms with a fresh pool and tennis court. The staff was super friendly and always available. Good bountiful breakfast.

This hotel could potentially be a top hotel but the issue is the management’s lack to attention to details. It’s not the staff but management accepting mediocrity. It was manifested in things like a so-so food lunch and dinner quality, providing broken tennis rackets, not having glasses next to the water jug, and not checking if the bar toilets have paper towels. Also the pool did not have enough towels and had to get them at the reception. Net, nice hotel but it could have been so much more special

Amazing service, free shuttle into town. All staff very knowledgeable on wines and where to go..extremely helpful especially the shuttle drivers.

Although the had a living room, just felt that the bedroom was very cramped.

Upon arrival we had an issue with our two rooms, but the wonderful manager Thalia took control and resolved the matter perfectly- great customer service - thank you - pool is fantastic - bar very good - would recommend paying the extra for the more roomier suites and villas

Third time to stay here. Staff are well trained and professional and the breakfast is really good

The bedroom for the one bed chalet is a bit cramped. And our guesser burst and took a full day to be resolved and staff was slow to allocate alternative bathing facilities

Great pool, villa rooms and suites well worth additional cost . The manager, Thalia managed to sort out a potential complaint into a glowing recommendation - give her a pay rise- she is a great asset to the hotel.

Initially we had a deluxe room - poor TV reception - rooms not that large - after speaking to Thalia she was able to rectify our problem - very helpful

Relaxed location with the best drives around the area.

They don't pay attention to dietary requirements and allergies, Waitress did not have any idea about the dinner menu and i ended up with food i was allergic to
