The location is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is big.

The hotel is old and smelly. You can smell smoke wherever you go. The staff didn’t clean the table tops properly and you just feel dirty everywhere. I did not sit on any of their sofa. The bed and pillows are comfortable but have strong smells that show that they were used and not really clean. Also, I was alarmed by the state of their ironing board.

Location is good. Many food outlet around the hotel, shopping area is just around the hotel.

Could have more washing machine. Need to queue for it.

The location score a 10, with dongmen pedestrian street just a 3 minute walk away. The nearest metro station, laojie station is a mere 1 minute walk away, with many shopping malls and eateries in the vicinity. There were enough power sockets in the room. The counter staff, Amy, definitely score a 10, with her helpfulness and friendly disposition.

The housekeeping staff were not as helpful. We requested for extra pillows, but were told the hotel can only provide 1 extra pillow. Toiletries provided were not comprehensive, no hand and body moisturisers. A piece of bar soap was provided instead of liquid hand wash. Wifi was laggy and a bit slow. Breakfast was below average, in terms of quality, taste and variety, although the hotel made effort to vary the food variety every morning. You can give breakfast a miss.
