L'emplacement, la chambre, le petit dejeuner

En raison de la grève, absence de goûter et de dîner (alors que c'était compris dans le prix a la réservation) + pas de service de chambre, ce qui est embêtant avec un bébé qui porte encore des couches. Pas de dédommagement sous prétexte que nous sommes passés par booking ! Rien par écrit, tout par oral, donc pas de pièces justificatives....

Great location, really nice decor and the staff are really friendly. Unfortunately there was no dinner as the staff were on strike but the rest of the staff did an amazing job despite this

Obsługa hotelowa bardzo miła, uczynna. Starała się jak tylko mogła mimo zaistniałej sytuacji. Pokoje bardzo czyste, śniadania smaczne.

W trakcie naszego pobytu trwał strajk hotelarzy w Bergen i wielu innych miastach Norwegii. Gdy przyjechaliśmy, strajk trwał już kilka dni. Szkoda, że hotel nie poinformował o tym przybywających gości np. przez wiadomość na bookingu. O zaistniałej sytuacji dowiedzieliśmy się na miejscu. Poinformowano nas przy tym, że ze względu na okrojoną liczbę pracowników, obiady nie będą dostępne. Szkoda, że tak późno się o tym dowiedzieliśmy, gdyż rezerwowaliśmy pobyt w tym hotelu ze względu na dostępne posilki. Nie chcieliśmy szukać po mieście restauracji i dodatkowo płacić za obiady. Hotel nie zaoferował nic w zamian. Booking próbował się skontaktować pisemnie z obiektem, nie otrzymał jednak odpowiedzi.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent - lots of variety, fresh, healthy choices and delicious every morning and evening. The location is perfect! Right in the center of the historic district, along the water, within easy reach of all attractions, museums, shops, and the port for transportation. Beds are comfy, staff is helpful, facilities are beautiful with lots of cozy seating in the lounge areas. This is a 4-star + hotel for a reasonable price especially when including 1/2 board - plus the afternoon Fika (Happy Hour snacks) is a wonderful treat. The crepes, hot chocolate and cookies welcomed us back to the hotel each day.

The only two things that were not ideal were based on design only - (1) there are no drawers at all in the room and the closet is very small with no room for long hanging items (i.e. dresses or coats) due to the mini-fridge and the opaque glass door to the bath floods the room with light if someone enters the bath during the night. Would still highly recommend for all the other reasons above.
