Lakeside Lodge Motel

We stayed overnight with an active grandson and he had plenty of space outside to kick a ball and use up his energy. The room was clean, bathroom excellent and beds comfortable for the price we paid.

Was a lovely room comfy bed only let down was there was no hot water in the shower

Riom smelled a little.

I stayed here about ten years ago, when it was considered one of the better motels in Lismore. It still has the large rooms and comfy beds, and the out of town setting with a view from every room. However, some of the little things are not keeping up. My shower was not hot enough, which isn't good in winter. The supply of tea and coffee was very small, though I appreciate the fact they provide fresh milk in recyclable bottles. And my greeting on arrival was positively unfriendly, a locked door and getting yelled at to wait by someone on the phone, in the middle of the afternoon.

Very friendly people I thought the bed was a bit hard however in saying that my wife said it was great electric blanket instead of air con would be better

A pleasant stay, with nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Only criticism is that the aircon is a bit dated, under powered and noisy so had to turn it off at night (but I stayed warm enough). Another first wold issue was that the hot water in the shower didn’t get above mild in the morning.

Cheap mattress, poor shower.

Room was very clean and excellent size. There was quite a lot of noise heard from the people in the room next door.

Shortage of cutlery, had to share one knife and one teaspoon. Road working gang arrived at approx 4am Four vehicles parked outside motel rooms,vehicle engines, lights & voices woke us. Semi trailer, also part of this road working group, drove along very rough road at back of motel,, also at approx 4am, and turned to park near motel still creating disturbance to us & no doubt other motel customers. .

I've stayed here several times for business now and its clean and comfortable with everything I need and close to town. I would recommend this hotel most definetely.
