The lady at the desk was very nice. She is probably the best thing about the place.

I was placed in “the” pet friendly room.. I agree with a previous guest’s review.. “if you bring a pet, you’re being punished”. That was the most disgusting room that I have ever stayed in. The carpet was so dirty and wet, I would not dare take my shoes off. I made sure to check for bed bugs. No bed bugs but the mattress covers, sheets, and bed covers were stained. One of the bedspreads had dirty black marks on it. The other looked like a big dog had gotten hold of it and tried to rip it apart. The chair cover was so dirty, I wouldn’t even try to sit in it. It looked like blood was on it. The refrigerator did not work, water was dripping on the inside from the freezer that also didn’t work. I tried to heat a fried pie for 30 seconds in the microwave, the microwave started smoking and was trying to catch fire. I had to stop it before the pie was even hot. People were standing outside my window, smoking marijuana, talking and laughing, while the smell just drifted inside my room. People who I am assuming live there were using table top grilles on the trunk of their car to grill food. I was told by a resident of the city that it is called the “drug hotel”, where the addicts hang out, and someone had overdosed there, which makes me wonder if the room wasn’t haunted. My dog just randomly sat up and started growling at the chair in the middle of the night, I could see nothing there. Oh, and not to mention the guests in the room above me that continued to stomp around above me. I slept with a gun on my nightstand because I didn’t know what was going to happen. This is the only pet friendly hotel in the town and I was too far away from home to leave. $89 a night was way too much, it isn’t worth $50 a night. Never again. Would not recommend and don’t even go, if you’re needing pet friendly. The other rooms may have been nicer but I was punished in the pet room. My dog is clean, groomed and I clean up after him. We don’t live this way, and it was disgusting.

The breakfast should not even be mentioned. They only had a few pastries was about it.
