The Angler Hotel Livingston, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Exit door from the building had a closer issue & kid bumped his head as the door didn’t fully open. No big deal, but thought to share just to let you know. This is an emergency code violation & should be corrected in case there is a real emergency. Not really a complaint, but just something noticed for others to do something with or disregard.

We travel for work as musicians and some towns do not have the vast selection of hotels. We were so thrilled to find the Angler. Checkin was wonderful, and they accommodate us with a 1:00 PM check out on request. We were very happy with the room and slept wonderfully after getting in late from a show. I would def. Recommend and stay again myself. We didn't get to try the restaurant but it looked good!

No toilet paper and no hot water.

The reservation was booked for a king bed but when we arrived the Hotel said they did not carry king beds it was only Queen beds. We paid for a king bedroom and that was not given. The hotel always smelled like gas. We reported it toy he front desk and they said they could not do anything about it.

Not clean our front desk agent had to check several rooms due rooms being dirty. It was annoying due to the fact we arrived late and still have to wait to get into a room. Hallway was dirty and the room was okay.
