"Great night out at the Village Hotel, Bournemouth."

A great night out with my wife at the Village at one of their Big Nights Out. Great value entertainment with a meal, live tribute act and DJ. Will definitely go again and may even stay the night to avoid taxi costs and have a good drink.

Friendly helpful staff. Early departure so didn't use breakfast facilities. Very much enjoyed an evening meal on our arrival Certainly a bonus with free car parking,

"Good stay for work"

Stayed one night for work. Easy uber from the train station, great friendly and helpful staff at check in. Plenty of parking if arriving by car. Room was spacious, very clean with a great shower. Best hairdryer I've used in a hotel. Didn't have breakfast or use the gym or pool but did have room service for dinner. Food was tasty and quick to arrive. Short walk to Tesco if needed and Starbucks on site. Bed comfy, 4 pillows that were large but did flatten out so were OK- i usually sleep with a firm shaped pillow but these were fine. Sofa was nice to use to watch tv, shame the remote is hard work to get the buttons to do anything! I'd stay again - was value for money

"Dark room spoiled stay"

Handy location in hotel chain I have used a lot up north

The room was so dark that even with all lights provided we could not see to unpack. Needs a standard lamp or more lamps- ridiculously dark

"Football presentation"

We held our annual football presentation at the village . The customer service and the offer of help from the staff was excellent . Nothing was too much , we arrived early to set up the room . So we decided to eat there , the food was excellent and very tasty. The service again personally from Tommy was excellent he bought all our food up to the room that we held our presentation in , so we could carry on setting up . The bar staff downstairs were very helpful and again the customer service was great! Thankyou we will definitely be holding our Football presentation here again !

"Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and easy to park. Nice pub and coffee bar"

Bed really comfy and room lovely and clean. Unfortunately children were running around the corridors making a lot of noise for quite a long time into the evening. Not the best night sleep due to noise
