Village Hotel Bournemouth

Dined in the pub/restaurant attached to the hotel/gym. Very pleasant environment. Food was excellent if a little on the pricey side. Got a 10% discount by signing up for their app. Food service a bit slow but a great burger was worth the wait. Will return.

Have previously given a really positive review here as I have used this many times for me and my team. Appreciate this isn’t intended for a night out but the bar shutting at 9:30 just isn’t good enough. The bar staff have pretty much down tooled by 9. We are not there to party but some of my team didn’t arrive until 8pm and we were looking forward to some time to socialise Also on my last few visits the continued mix up with delivering our food at the same time has been shocking, with our last visit resulting in two of my 7 Team in the team having to get a takeaway Sadly we have had to move our regular booking to the Holiday Inn. It’s a shame really as we all liked it here, but with the early closing of the bar and regular mess up with meals we have had no choice

A well rounded hotel with everything that you need under one roof. The breakfast selection was amazing and deliciously cooked. Would definitely recommend and return.

The bed was comfy

Arrived after a long day travelling back from abroad. Booked the village for their food and bar experiences I have had at different locations. Checked in at 21:15 and told that the kitchen is shut,even though advertised much later closing. Told at 22:15 that the bar was closing too whilst staff moped the floor around us. Reevaluating my future stays at The Village Hotel Group, unimpressed is an understatement considering the price paid.
