"Great facilities and one standout dinner, but the service and value don’t live up to the price or the hype."

The entrance and facilities, including the pool and beach area, were impressive. The opening party was fun and we were able to move around the hotel freely. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant Mimani was a genuine highlight — Helena was outstanding, attentive and warm, and the shrimp dish was one of the freshest and best we had in all of Spain. One reception staff member also stood out for following through exactly as promised when I asked about pillow service.

For nearly €950 for one night for two people, the experience fell well short of expectations. The in-room coffee machine didn’t work, the AC took a very long time to cool down, and the drinks and service felt bare minimal. Staff came across as more focused on tips than on genuinely taking care of guests — when I asked for a drink recommendation I was offered a tequila sunrise, and a staff member who offered to make us a dinner reservation never followed through. We felt more like a burden than guests.
