Place smelled musky Desk clerk very rude I booked a handicap room 1st floor cause I can't walk far or climb stairs, we arrived about noon,when we went to check in, clerk said we couldn't check in til 4, an the only rooms available were up stairs cause they were remolding downstairs, we told him we are canceling the reservation because he was rude... then he went to computer an said rudely I can't help you anyway cause I booked with a third party which I didn't know I was then he told us that was our problem not his.. we left an went to better hotel for a lot less money.. first time I have ever been treated like that, an I will not never stay there or recommend this place to anyone.. Super 8 by Windham is horrible place

Breakfast was good and as expected. I liked the closeness of the Casino.

The ice machine was broken and I am a BIG ice person. They offered no other alternative. There was construction on the sight which was NEVER mentioned on the website. If there's construction (remodeling) and some services are not available then there should be a discount for the room. I am retired, 69 and this was a huge trip for met to be able to take. Would like for there to been NO disappointments. I live on SS so I have to save a long time to be able to take this trip. I also didn't like that they put a $100 HOLD on my card in case something was wrong with the room when I left. They did that immediately and that took away from some of the money I thought I would be playing with. I saw NO WHERE when I made the reservation that they were going to do this or I would have prepared for it. They NEVER take it off the card as quick as they take it out!
