Prospector Hotel & Gambling Hall

We enjoyed our stay at the Prospector Hotel! When they say pet friendly the mean it, our little pooch was welcomed and spoiled. We will definitely stay there again. Two thumbs up!

The location for a break between driving from Las Vegas to Boise was perfect for a night rest. The atmosphere was rustic, charming, historic and entertaining. Although the hotel is old the rooms were very clean, fresh and modern with the comfort of the bed, linens and thoughtful accommodations. We are two senior couples with back problems. The beds were as refreshing and comfortable as the 4 star hotel we stayed in at Las Vegas.

Everything was wonderful. Comfy bed, roomy bathroom counter, quiet, convenient parking, restaurant on site (excellent Mexican food). Refrigerator, large TV, plenty of TV channels.

Nothing really, yes its old, but thats what i like about it, it gives it character.

I highly recommend this hotel in Ely, NV! Friendly and helpful staff in every area, including the gift shop! Beds and pillows are super comfy! Rooms are very clean, well decorated and reasonably priced! Blackout curtains, nice furniture and moveable desk & task chair. Love the shower head and water pressure! Mini fridge, safe, microwave, iron & hair dryer are very convenient plus they left the usual toiletries (lotion, shampoo, conditioner, makeup removing wipe, shower cap, soap and a bottle of water), but also included a toothbrush and toothpaste PLUS lollipops and earplugs! A one-stop hotel with a gift shop, restaurant, bar & casino. The rooms also have two bottles of wine, 2 glass wine, glasses, a wine opener in the room (for purchase). Get cozy and relax! This is my 2nd stay here and will definitely stay here anytime I'm in Ely! Thank you!

From the moment I got to the hotel to check in, the customer service was amazing. They also offered one complementary drink from their lounge, a free gift from their gift shop and had a really good Mexican restaurant. The character was quaint and cute. We loved it here.
