Days Inn by Wyndham Shelby

The lobby had a bit of a smell and the pool wasn't open for the season yet, but the room was great. Clean, nice design, and comfortable. The breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

I booked two adjoining king rooms. Both toilets had so much urine built up on the toilet seats that it had become a thick, gel like residue. I attempted to pick up the room phone call the front desk and the receiver was stuck to the base, had to use one hand to hold down the base and one to pick up the receiver. Obviously not touching it to my face, there was no dial tone, tried pressing "0", still nothing. I walked to the front desk and told them the issue. The guy immediately came and cleaned everything, also apologized for it. The pillow cases had black streaks/stains on them, the towels had the same. There was an old gritty black hand print on the shower wall as well. On the plus side...no bed bugs, air conditioning worked great. The continental breakfast juice machine offered orange juice and apple juice, however, you couldn't get one without it being mixed with the other. We will not be going back to a Days Inn anywhere.

This place is nasty. Broken shower head that fell off as soon as I tried to adjust it, broken toilet seat, broken microwave that randomly beeps so we had to unplug it. Cable jack is pulled out of the wall. The pool is empty and as dirty as it could possibly be. The mini fridge is sitting on blocks and leaking water into a big tray that it sits in and barely allows the door to open. Inside of the fridge is very gross. TV is maybe 20 inches and falls off the wall of you barely touch it. You can see daylight through the cracks in the door as well. On top of all that, when we checked in there were at least 10 guys hanging out in a group along the sidewalk in front of all the room doors until after midnight. Literally had to step over peoples feet to get to the door. The lights along the walkway have also blown out or been turned off on purpose and the place is super dark and sketchy. It wreaked of weed all over the building and parking lot from the minute we got there to the minute we left. The advertised free breakfast consisted of a waffle machine and 4 slices of bread. It is absolutely awful. Please see the pics. I should have taken more. One star is way too high for this place. $117 a night is robbery.

Nice and quiet area, Rooms seem to be recently updated as well.
