Hotel Winselerhof by Flow

Hotel is set in it's own grounds and has a good restaurant (Italian fusion nouvelle cuisine) it is good but be prepared to pay for it. There is an alternative downstairs in the small brasserie bar but it is usually a single dish of the day so a bit pot luck. Beware that Monday nights most restaurants in the area are closed so choices are limited. Upstairs rooms are generally more spacious and a little lighter. With huge walls and small windows in this converted farm there is not always a lot of light. Bathrooms are well equipped, could perhaps have a few more power points in the room but generally fit for purpose. There is no a/c so on hot days it can get a bit stuffy in rooms as airflow is limited. A/C is not an option as the building is protected due to its age. Breakfast is varied and should suit most tastes. Will happily stay there again.

My husband and I stayed overnight here to visit friends in the area. We were impressed by the high standards of this hotel. The décor was lovely, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. We had lunch at one of the attached restaurants, which was delicious. Our only slight issue was in the shower, which was located under the slant portion of the roof. Tall people have an awkward time of it... Overall, though, we loved our short stay here and would return in the future.

Hotel WinselerHof is a hidden gem located only 20 minutes from Aachen, DE. It is surrounded by beautiful woods with lovely hiking trails, a small vineyard right outside the dining room, and the building itself is a centuries old farm building. The renovations are beautiful and modern, yet retain the original brick walls and wooden beams. Because of the thick walls the rooms are extremely quiet. Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. There is an excellent restaurant onsite. I would recommend this hotel for business simply because of its comfort, but even more so for a romantic getaway.

this is an absolutely beautiful hotel and grounds. it really is something else with fantastic rooms, courtyard and restaurant not to mention having a lovely forest on your doorstep. if you are ever in this part of the world this place is certainly worth a visit. 5 star.

Located in the downtown area of Epernay, walking distance to Avenue des Champagnes. The hotel was built in the 70's, dated decor, furnishings and lighting, although very clean. The room and bed (for two) was tiny. It was not a restful night sleep. The hotel manager is a lovely man; very helpful.
