Best Western Plus Lake Dallas Inn & Suites

Location

First room, hair on toilet and bathtub, drop pan under air conditioner with old water 1 1'2" deep. TV wouldn't work, front desk couldn't get it to work, I had to switch rooms at 2am (i checked in late, and handicapped. No assistance in moving roo.s. opened door and killed a cockroach crawling on the bench seat next to the tv/dresser. Long hair in bathtub. Kept hearing a dog constantly barking all night. When Sun came up, I opened curtains and this property shares a back fence with residential properties. But when i looked down and saw exposed sewer pipe in Best Westerns back yard and a junk pile of old equipment on back patio........despicable! I stayed three nights at a Best Western in Lubbock within the same seven day period and it was good. But this was despicable, i was not about to eat the breakfast as I couldn't trust it.

When I had a concern with billing, the front desk was extremely rude and mint helpful.

All good except for the semi being worked on in the parking lot. Lol

The staff is rude and disrespectful end of story didn’t have ac for three days and they did nothing about it

I thought since this property received good reviews overall that I would be staying at a nice place. I was very wrong. I checked in and went up to my room. The first room they had me in clearly had not been cleaned or stayed in for a while. There were dead fruit flies in the bed, and the room was dirty. I went down to ask to be put in another room. The second room I went to had stains all over the sheets, and it also looked like it had not been cleaned or used in a while. I was overall disappointed in the hotel rooms and expected more since the reviews were good online. I will say the staff are all very kind and welcoming. They were willing to accommodate me when I asked to change rooms. The manager was very nice, and she was willing to help me with the issues. Overall, the staff are fantastic, the hotel (not so much…)
