The scam I experienced was only possible because the hotel’s official email info@karonseasand.com was hacked. The messages I received came directly from their real address — not a fake one — which means the breach happened on the hotel’s server, not on mine. Despite this, the hotel never filed a police report about their server being hacked, even though this is a serious security incident involving guest communication. Instead, they focused only on the payment itself and shifted responsibility onto me, rather than acknowledging that their own system had been compromised. My email was also blocked on their server for days after the incident, which strongly suggests the breach was ongoing. The hotel has provided no technical explanation, no investigation results, and no confirmation that their system is now secure. A hotel that cannot protect its official communication channels — and refuses to take responsibility when they are hacked — puts every guest at risk. Until they properly secure their systems and acknowledge the breach, I cannot recommend staying here.

Впервые решили остановиться на кароне поскрипеть местным песочком :) и не разочаровались. Отель близко к морю и автобусной остановке, так что спокойно доехали с аэропорта (терминал местных прилетов) автобусом Р3 за сто бат (ходит каждый час по расписанию, джимини в помощь). Убирались каждый день, 4 бутылки воды меняли, тапки, полотенца, халаты, сейф - все было. Обязательно сьездите на обе Каты рядом, можно тем же автобусом. Скупиться по вещам можно на центральном рыночке, за те же цены что и на Патонге (если не искать вещи экстракласса), но есть (главное пить) там дорого. На следущей улице от моря есть куча неплохих ресторанов, нам понравился итальянский, где и вкуснючая тайская кухня за 100-150 бат и рыбку запекают красиво за 350 (на рынке ее по виду сильно сжигают на мой взгляд), а также лобстеров и все остальное. Фрукты там тоже можно купить дешевле и на массаж сходить. На массаж обязательно сходите в салон рядом с отелем на улице, уровня явно повыше (ноги моют на входе), а ценами абсолютно обычными (массаж ног на час за 300 бат), и картой можно платить. Закат можете встетить на их крыше рядом, неплохо в принципе, а вот гиннес за 400 бат это уже перебор, цена как в Англии :((, так что берите Чанг как обычно :)). Завтраки неплохие, но за неделю надоедает, приятный бассейн.

Набор фруктов на завтрак можно слегка разнообразить. Приехали мы раньше (нас спрашивали даже об этом заранее) и ждали заселения до положенных 2 часов. Оставили чемоданы на рецепции, сходили на рынок. В 2 нас с помпой заселили в крайний номер получше у бассейна на одну ночь. На следущий день хоть сразу переехали в обычный заказанный номер без ожидания. Все как бы нормально, но тот первый номер еще простаивал дней 5. За разбитый стакан заплатили смешных 20 бат, 100 баксов вернули быстро как проверили за 5 мин номер. В принципе особых претензий нет, но "сработать" можно было ркасивше :))

Recently did a 4 day stay Karon Sea Sands Resort in Phuket. We are a family of 4 from the US. The location of the resort is centrally located right across from Karon Beach with everything you could want within walking distance (7-11, good restaurants, souvenirs, etc.). It's about a 45-1 hr. drive from the Phuket airport. The resort is actually slightly off the main road and therefore more quiet than being directly on Karin Beach. Front desk people spoke English (ish). Water was provided in rooms. Rooms were clean with good daily maid service. Breakfast was included and was a big spread with a traditional breakfast items including a fresh omelette / pancake / waffle service. The resort included a full sized gym, which was great given the amount of very reasonably priced Thai food we consumed. The kids enjoyed the pool and pool bar, which was open all day. As a picky hotel guest, Karon Sea Sands was a good place to stay.

The location is perfect, central for everything but still quiet. Plenty of sunbeds round the pool, comfy as well. Lovely and clean.

The breakfasts could have been better.

WARNING This hotel has a serious security problem. During my booking, scammers gained access to the hotel’s official email address info@karonseasand.com, meaning their server was hacked. I trusted the communication because it came directly from their real email — something the hotel failed to protect. As a result, I was tricked into paying to the account they instructed, causing a major financial loss. Even after the incident, my own email remained blocked on their server, proving that their system is still compromised. The hotel has offered almost no support, no explanation, and no responsibility for a breach that happened on their server — which is their legal responsibility. A hotel that cannot secure its own communication channels and then refuses to take accountability is a risk to every guest. Until they fix their IT security, investigate the breach properly, and take responsibility, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

We had actually booked another hotel but when we were going to check in, that hotel had cancelled us without informing us and we didn't get any explanation why 😒 Did some quick googling and a short walk to Karon Sea Sands Resort was the salvation of the rest of our holiday. Met a very nice young lady (Grace) in the lobby who with a big heart💕 helped us arrange accommodation even though the hotel was almost fully booked. It was 8 fantastically nice days at this hotel and will definitely return to this little paradise. Karon Sea Sands Resort is a fantastically nice Resort that has a very quiet and good location with a reasonable distance to the beach and shopping. Very nice rooms with a high standard and a fantastically nice and competent staff who are really service-minded. 💖Very good breakfast with a good selection that makes it easy to vary your breakfast in a good way. The pool area is quiet and stylish with a nice pool to cool off in and also a brilliantly good pool bar with good food and drinks that you can enjoy under the parasol. Can honestly recommend Karon Sea Sands Resort👌

Frukosten, riktigt usel. Det fanns liksom ingenting gott att äta. Juicen var saft. En person står och steker omelett i en alldeles för liten, stekpanna. Personalen verkade inte glada, konstig stämning. Det finns inget spa, det heter så för att det kostar att byta namn efter Corona. Toproof ligger i en annan byggnad. Bilderna stämmer inte med verkligheten.
