USUSUSUSI wrote one of the “glowing” reviews you will see on this site. However, I need to update my review— I will not be staying here in the future. I am okay with “budget” hotels, but this one has gone downhill significantly in the past few years. Super shabby, broken mini-fridge (although, they did offer to allow me to keep my food in their fridge). Staff not overly friendly (although, I am sure they are overworked and this is NOT fun work!). And no peanut butter packets at breakfast! I will try somewhere else next time I come to Emporia.
A nice place to stay. It's easy to get to easy to be checked in good place to stay.
USThe breakfast was awesome, and I loved that there were plenty of pillows in the room. The beds were very comfortable.
The mechanism for adjusting the chair height was broken. It would not stay in the highest position to be comfortable to work at the desk. Probably should be replaced. The toilet was so low to the ground and also too close to the wall. There was plenty of room to put the toilet a few more inches away from the wall, so must of been of design error that the plumbing was too close to the wall. Hard to sit straight on the throne, just a little askward.
USAnts in the sink and other bugs on the hall walls. No lock on the outer door at the end of the building. Stains on hall carpet. No staff at front desk all morning. Room smelled like urine.
The room we had was not adequately accessorized. Missing lamps, strange bathroom layout. The breakfast room was very crowded.
