Putahracsa Hua Hin

Loved our stay at Putahracsa! We had booked an Oceanbed Jacuzzi Villa which was right by the ocean, the food was great, service was amazing *Special mention to Mint who was very sweet and helped us book a bike, get a taxi 😊 We'll surely be back again!

This was an excellent experience for a proper beach holiday. Very comfortable bed, great jacuzzi and outdoor living space.

Trotz der ruhigen Lage extreme Lärmbelästigung durch indische Hochzeit (d.h. durchgehend für 4 Tage laute Musikbeschallung) im Nachbarhotel; Strand mit Plastik verunreinigt (so wurde auch der Plastikmüll welchen die Hochzeitsgesellschaft reichlich verursachte, einfach dem Meer überlassen); etwas abseits gelegen (ist aber in Thailand kein Hindernis, da Taxis jeglicher Art extrem günstig)

Entspannte Atmosphäre bei höchstem Komfort und extrem hilfsbereitem und nettem Personal

Returned second year in a row. Convenient location and access to restaurants, night markets and etc… Cleanliness was good and facilities kept in good condition. Breakfast was the highlight with variety and delicious options to start the day. Keep up the good management and see you again next year.

Our recent 4-day, 3-night stay at Putahrasca for our 30th wedding anniversary was unforgettable. Every time we visit Hua Hin, we choose this hotel, and this time did not disappoint. Putahrasca went above and beyond, preparing a cosy room with anniversay decoration and a celebration cake, and some special offers for catering and spa that made our celebration even more special. The hospitality was outstanding, with housekeeping attending to every detail, including our request for non-sugar drinks in the minibar. The hotel's pool was a perfect place to relax, providing a tranquil atmosphere that enhanced our overall experience. The pool staff, Oad and Num, quickly became our good friends; they introduced us to some fantastic local dining spots around Hua Hin. We also loved the collaboration with local artists, which featured a vibrant market weekly at the hotel. My wife found a hand-painted bag and an adorable owl figurine, adding a local touch to our trip. Dining was another highlight, with great breakfast and meals that showcased the real local flavors of Hua Hin. Each dish was a delight, making our culinary experience truly special. The spa experience was also excellent; the environment was tranquil and soothing. The therapists demonstrated great skill, providing top-notch treatments at very reasonable prices. It was the perfect way to unwind and enhance our stay! Although we encountered some issues with the on-demand tuk-tuk service on one day and faced some communication difficulties at the spa desk, these were minor compared to the overall experience. A special thank you to Ann and her team for making our 30th anniversary truly memorable!

the room was beautiful and clean. location wise was not so bad, only around 5mins to the night markets. the hotel provides free shuttle bus but they don't go to places we wanted to go, even its less than 10mins drive, kinda disappointed. service was good and staff were very nice and polite. one thing about our room was that the bathroom drain was clogged and the water went down extremely slow. the water overflew and almost spilled out of the shower room every time when we take a not very long shower ( only 5-10mins). also the water pressure was not strong enough and the water went cold for a few seconds every 1-2mins

We have been guests of Putahracsa since 2012 and chose to return mainly because of the Oceanside Beach Club, which has always been a highlight of the resort. The location remains excellent, within easy reach of the beach and many restaurants, and the crossing assistant helping guests safely cross the road is a genuinely charming and useful service. Breakfast is another strong point, offering many fresh and healthy choices. However, this visit did not meet our expectations. During our stay, the Oceanside Beach Club was closed for more than two full days due to preparations for a private New Year event. We were not informed of this in advance. Because of the closure, the alternative pool became overcrowded, and sunbeds were extremely difficult to obtain. Many guests reserved beds with towels early in the morning, and this situation did not appear to be actively managed by staff. We stayed in a Silksand room, which felt noticeably dated compared to previous visits. The air-conditioning was quite noisy and blew directly onto the bed, making temperature control uncomfortable at night. While the staff were polite and the hotel itself remains attractive, the overall experience was affected by the lack of prior communication and reduced access to facilities. The hotel apologized for the inconvenience but did not offer compensation for the stay. We hope Putahracsa will improve transparency and room updates, as it has the potential to deliver a much better guest experience.
