Das Hotel befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstr. und bietet eigene Parkplätze.Guter Standort um fußläufig in die Altstadt zu gelangen. Geräumige Zimmer mit Terrasse und Sitzgelegenheit. Frühstücksbuffet mit guter Auswahl . Sehenswerte Altstadt mit vielen Restaurants und Cafes. Der Karnevalsumzug war absolut sehenswert und findet in der gesamten Altstadt an unterschiedlichen Plätzen statt.Karneval wird hier an mehreren Wochenenden im Januar und Februar gefeiert.

Durch die direkt vor dem Hotel verlaufende Hauptstraße gibt es entsprechenden Verkehrslärm.

The hotel itself was nice, good location for the wedding we were attending. The room was decent. And staff were mostly friendly.

We had a bad impression before we arrived. We booked the hotel back in November 2024 for our stay from 15th - 21st May 2025 , for a wedding in the area, and an extended stay for a birthday. No issues until late March 2025 (6 weeks before the wedding) we receieved an email from the hotel saying they had a big group booking & could no longer accommodate us for the final night of our stay - FOUR MONTHS after we had originially booked. Not our problem that you've since had a larger booking - that is a shocking reason to cancel someone's booking. As the 20th was the previously mentioned birthday, we decided not to travel that day, & as this hotel was convenient for the wedding, we had no choice but to stay & leave on the 19th instead. Meaning our vacation was cut short by 2 days. This meant planning flights again & trying to find alternate arrangements for 2 days. Not a stress we needed that close to the trip when we planned it months before that. Other things while we were there that also contributed to a bad experience: - Given the wrong room on arrival (booked a junior suite & were put in a regular room) - Air con broke - The hotel becomes a restaurant on a saturday evening. ALL public spaces are closed off for reservations. Nowhere for guests to sit & have a drink or socialise. When we complained about this, we were told we could sit in the tiny reception lobby crowded round a small table (9 of us). Perhaps put your guests first who are paying money to be there. Or make this clear in the hotel listing. We asked on the 1st day if we could have food brought to one of the communal areas where two of our party were working remotely. And we were told that their rules state that food can only be eaten in the restaurant & they are not allowed to serve food anywhere else, only for ALL communal areas to become a restaurant 48 hours later, and we werent even allowed to sit there. Contradicting everything they had said before.
