The staff was excellent! The room was a little small but it had character.

Enjoyed this house, the charm of it was nice. We had a balcony and the bed was comfy.

Nice hotel, a straight walk to Bourbon. Easy access out of hours. Cosy room.

Kindness from Roosevelt made the difference. The hotel was alright but Roosevelt and the kind human he is made the stay and experience all time. The location is wonderful too. I liked everything about the place and very simple but kindness matters most.

#1 was the staff here are so kind and helpful. Each and every person made us feel so welcome and helped us navigate the area. #2 the area! All the best places are walkable from the hotel. Yet you are not in the center of the partying. We loved everything about our stay and will come back!

Upon arrival, the staff was overly friendly which we initially took as a good sign. However, what we realized was that they were overcompensating for the extremely poor quality and condition of our room, which was filthy including hair in the bathroom, mold on framed prints, electrical outlets hanging loose from the wall, and a smoke detector with no batteries that hung loose as well. We couldn't walk barefoot because of the dirt on the floor (including black clumps of chewing gum embedded in the bathroom tile and cobblestone flooring in the bedroom). The hotel's front clerk failed to provide us with the proper code to the front door and side gate to the courtyard. After spending the day in the French Quarter, we returned around 5 pm to find that no staff was on site - and the 4-digit code we had been given was for the lock on the parking lot. We tried ringing a doorbell that was supposed to alert the front desk but didn't bring any help. Finally, we banged on the hotel's front door and another guest heard us and let us in. After returning to our room to find that the additional towels we requested earlier had not been left (as we were told they would be -- because we only had one small bath towel), we noticed other disgusting details (a burn hole in the bed comforter, missing light bulb, holes in walls). We didn't even feel comfortable sitting on the bed. Because we live only two hours away from New Orleans, we opted to leave the hotel that night and didn't return to stay.

Booked this hotel for a last minute trip and Paris literally made our entire trip. He was amazing & accommodating. It’s a super cute spot to stay & really clean, the cute courtyard was a plus & the hotel parking was secure & safe. Love love love.

Great little spot if you are in town for a short period. The courtyard in adorable. The staff were very accommodating and made me feel at home.
