"Fine for 1 night."

1 night in Bordeaux for a football match. You get what you pay for, although price was inflated for the football.

"A motel to avoid"

This is the worst motel I have seen over many years of travelling through Europe. Our room was in a disgraceful state of repair. The metal doorframe between the main room and "bathroom" was so corroded that about 4" had rotted away from one side. Overall the whole site and building were very shabby.

"Not what you might think it is"

I tend not to complain- BUT- I am physically challenged. The only rooms they offer for handicapped are single rooms (NOT MENTIONED IN THE LISTING) I had two choices- make it up stairs or get a second room for my wife. Door did not lock (used a chair to secure it)and the shower was too small for my 100 pound- 5 ft 1 inch wife to comfortably use.

"Quick'n'easy shoebox"

A shoebox of a room, but fit our needs for a quick overnight stay on our way to the airport. A bit run down, but clean and comfortable beds. Dreadful industrial area, but reasonably easy access to the motorway. Simple vending machine on site. Restaurants within a 5 min drive. (Recommend La Belle Epoque at 64 Rue Daniel, good food and very nice staff!)

Stayed here overnight on the way to Calais. Even with the Satnav we had trouble finding the hotel just as we did on the previous occasion. A rather tired looking place now. Will not choose to stay there again.

"good location"

Room was small but typical of a European room had bathroom and shower in room bonus for my wife. It was close to Bordeaux and easy access to Saint Emilion where we spent a day exploring wine country.
