Nice property

They are not very accommodating to wedding guests from out of town and their needs on the wedding day. Guests do not have the ability to ready themselves prior to the wedding without having to book the room the day prior. There should be be wedding packages for rooms so out of town guests can dress and be ready for a 3 pm wedding 5 km away. This service would relieve them of having to travel to the wedding with their travel bags. In doing so would give the guest the option to take alternate transportation and not drive after drinking. A lobby bathroom is not an appropriate alternative for such an occasion. This turned away some of my guests.

I booked 2 rooms here for a recent convention. The second room was not needed due to an emergency BUT the cancellation was not made 72 HOURS in advance so I was charged full price for the room! I politely explained to a manager in a subsequent phone call yet was told nothing could be done. I would understand if it were peak season but in mid November when the place was half empty!! I personally stay in different hotels 50-70 nights per year and am responsible for booking 300+ room nights per year for my staff. Ridiculous that no exception would be made, poor business practice.

I liked the fact that my breakfast was included in my stay. Sad they had no oatmeal but the yogurt, bagel & coffee did the job!

There was no fan in the bathroom which I thought was odd but we didn't use the shower so it didn't matter this visit.

It was a great place to stay when a family member was at St. Joseph’s hospital for a few days. It was clean, quiet and in the midst of lots of restaurants. Good location! And only about 15 minutes to the hospital. The rooms are wonderful! They have a fridge and microwave and coffee/tea maker. The bathroom was lovely and had a walk in glass shower. The view was beautiful- looking onto the park/river out back. We used the pool and hot tub and on-site restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

There was no Jacuzzi and the staff was very rude about the booking and said it was the site‘s fault that the ad was wrong and that they haven’t had Jacuzzis at that property for a long time. They also said they only had two double bedswhen we had booked a king this was for A very important anniversary and it was ruined. We did not end up staying.
