Hosteria del Mar

This property was close at 11:20 pm when we arrived after a wedding party . Nobody answer the phone at the lobby and had to go to a friends house because we didn’t have a place to stay. This is the worse experience in my live with Expedia and a reservation. I will not recommend this place never.

The lady that helped us. There was very helpful and very kind. But the guy that got us to that lady, he was very creepy. He said that he wanted to kill me and take my other half all kinds of things the place was not very safe but it was very good to stay at because of the beach right on the ocean. Other than that, the place was not very clean? The place is very secure, but that guy needs to go. He is a creep apartment eight

It is a fantastic location right next to the beach. The rooms are comfortable and sevice was friendly. They say the water heater is solar, but the water never got hot during our showers.

It was right on the beach and conveniently located to additional restaurants other than the restaurant in the Hotel. They provided lounge chairs and beach towels. I did enjoy lounging in the restaurant to enjoy the beach and breeze without getting to toasty.

I didn't like that they didn't have mini refrigerators and that the service at the hotel was so slow. I wish they provided umbrellas for the chairs.

This local hotel is amazing! The pictures they post do not do it justice. This is not a typical hotel--it is small, and the rooms are scattered among beautiful, plant-filled courtyards. The place is literally 30 feet from the bright blue ocean. You are practically at the water in the open-air restaurant and bar. The fish tacos (local mahi mahi) were the best thing I ate all week in the city. The beach is great, but you can also walk a short distance to the local public beach for more views. I will absolutely be back!

Easy to get to the beach.

Location is very nice, close to everything. Is really beachfront, the view to the beach from the restaurant and bar is lovely. The property is really old, and the bedroom is no a luxury or modern stay, but is clean and good for the price.

Very basic amenities. Fair warning there is no hot water for showers. Ice cold. Everything else is very basic but for the price fair.

The location is in a beautiful neighborhood on the beach. The room was clean and neat.
