Rocky Crest Golf Resort

It was really amazing experience. The entire property is so nice & peaceful surrounded by the lake.

We stayed at Rocky Crest Golf Resort for our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience. They surprised us with complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, which made our stay feel extra special. The resort is set in a stunning natural location, and the room was very comfortable and clean. We also had a canoeing adventure that took an unexpected turn when we got caught in a storm and stranded on a far island—but the staff handled the situation calmly and did their best to bring us back safely and efficiently. The nearby restaurants served excellent food, adding to the overall experience.

There wasn’t much to dislike! The only thing I would mention is that the bathroom didn’t have a toothbrush or toothpaste, which would have been a nice touch.

Good place for weekend

Properly is very good. We were travelling with Baby- it was inconvenient to reach till the room. No proper access for Stroller. Restaurant has good ambience - food was okay. Overall the property has nice view and amenities.

Fabulous little getaway , very serene and cozy.

We had rented a loft and it was getting dark when we arrived. We were told we were in the '5's - and walked around about 10 minutes looking for our unit. Several lights were burnt out and it made it very difficult to see the numbers and awkward to climb stairs in the dark with no light. I would have expected a 'concierge' service to offer to help with bags or at least guide us. Two obviously older women, walking around in the dark. Not safe. The loft layout was good, but lots of issues. Finger marks and dirt around light switches - post covid - this is not a good look. Smudges and finger marks on kitchen appliances. Dirty walls. Furniture is past its use-by date. Why an amenity fee when we came in October and would be very unlikely to use beach or pool and certainly wouldn't need beach towels - as that was 1 positive about the loft - lots of towels. The amenities also listed 'in room' coffee - I can't ever remember going to any type of hotel, lodge, or b&b that doesn't have coffee & tea in the room, often with biscuits and milk. SO why is this included with the amenity fee. Phone calls are also on there - but according to the info they charge extra for any calls you make. Another 'amenity' was Internet access - in this day & age?? really. SO the amenity fee was simply an extra charge to add on to what seemed to be a reasonable cost for the lodgings. Wouldn't go there again. They need to revitalize and hire better cleaners and maintenance too.

it's located in a beautiful area but the actual place was a let down. Our unit was up a flight of stairs - so if you have any kind of issue with climbing a fair number of steps,you'd be out of luck. We were not given a good description of where the actual unit was only in general. Several outdoor lights were burnt out and so we wandered around for a good 10 minutes trying to locate the room with our luggage. The loft suite was a good size but really needs a serious update ... dirt and marks including around the light switches. The kitchenette looked like it needed a good clean. The furniture was marked and scuffed. The 'amenities' fee were ridiculous. Why would we want to go swimming in the middle of October?? Beach towels were on the amenities list - but why, when the one thing that was positive about the suite was that there were plenty of towels. Another amenity - a concierge - if there was such a being, they certainly didn't do much. Two older woman walking around in the dark trying to find a unit ... surely they should have offered to walk us over, or help with the luggage ...anything??? In room coffee marked as an amenity. I'm sorry but I have never been to a hotel, motel, b&b where you DIDN'T have coffee & tea and more offered in t he room. Phone calls which are then added to your fees. When we asked about the fees she says it covers things like parking - given that this place is quite remote it would be interesting if it didn't offer parking!!!
