the hotel is perfect ,located very close to Harbor and others . clean .staff are very helpful and pleasent. Food is o.k ,but need more selection overall I recommend this hotel ,

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. Staff, breakfast, room, position, pool etc were all great. It’s walking distance along the coast path to the centre of town and quiet and peaceful. We ate lunch and dinner out so I can’t vouch for the other meals but they were more expensive than the local restaurants.

Couldn’t fault this hotel, good location, beautifully maintained grounds, spotlessly clean, very attentive staff, with plenty of seating areas, and very extensive and lovely breakfast.

The weather was mixed for early April but we only lost one day on the sunbeds. The staff were friendly and helpful and have a good sense of humour. It was lovely to stay in an Adult only hotel - it was mainly couples so we were a novelty being 4 girlfriends having a break as an escape from our teenage and upwards children. Our Spa treatments were fantastic - up there with the best we've had. The indoor pool and gym were good. We decided on the Superior deluxe sea view rooms and having our Cabana was a treat we did all inclusive which was well worth the extra as there is so much choice, the Buffet meals were excellent and the a la carte was a treat - get in early to book that one though.

Caters for adults who want to chill out. Plenty of loungers for sun worshippers, but also Bowling Greens, Swimming pools, Aqua Arobics for those who want to be a bit more active. Evening Entertainment disappointing for this time of year.

Turned up early for check in about 12:15pm Requested if it was possible to check in early and was bluntly told no, 2pm. No attempt to see if my room was ready, very unusual in Cyprus they always go the extra yard usually Told them I would them go for a couple of hours bike ride but was not told till after check in that there was a bike storage area with tools etc... until after I checked in. It would have been handy to know or use the facility to set up my bike after the flight from London. A part from that my only issue was the noise on the first night after 11:30pm the music was still playing very loudly downstairs and even though I was on the 2nd floor you could hear it through the walls, I needed to have the TV on the drown the noise. No other issues the room was spotless modern and spacious the staff polite. Thumbs up to the Porter always smiling and helpful

The hotel and facilities were much better than I expected. All the staff were very friendly and I could not fault the hotel in any way. We will definitely be staying again and will recommend it to my friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Athena Royal. For us, it was the ideal location on the seafront, about 25/30 minutes walk or a short bus trip into Paphos. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely helpful/courteous and the food was great. Loved the grounds which were spacious and well tended. Only minor criticism is the en-suite bathrooms are a bit tired and the shower over bath arranged might be a little challenging for some guests. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Room very nice with good well equipped bathroom with robes & slippers. Excellent buffet will return !
