Bluebird Day Inn & Suites

Last minute decision to go to Tahoe and booked here. There is no front desk to check in with, everything is done via text and online which was nice. You retrieved your key from a lock box towards the front of the building. Solo female traveler and I felt a little unsafe here. The hotel is in need of some TLC. It was summer time and the linens were extremely hot! Air conditioning went on and off all night so it would wake me when it went back on and I would go from freezing to really hot. Bathroom, shower and sink were tiny. I guess that is pretty common in places like this in Tahoe. Overall it was a place to sleep. I've gone back since and did not opt to stay here again.

Easy check in online. Keys were ready to pick up in lock box Friendly lady at the front desk. Friendly staff throughout. Gave me preferred parking for my motorcycle for safety and security. Quiet location with easy access Local restaurants nearby and A supercool Whole foods store. CVS across the street. Best weekly rate on the strip.

Nothing that would stop me staying here again. Motel could use a little renovation but I'll take the cheaper rate over fancy appointments.

Good sightseeing around the lake which is near the property.

Large room and bed. No carpet, which is a plus for us. Best shower pressure so far in all of the hotel/inns we slept in. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Coffee available in the office at 8am. Near downtown.

Small shower space, good for petite, not so for large/tall guests.
