I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay. I specifically requested a non-smoking room because my children have asthma. Despite this request, the first thing we noticed upon entering the room was a strong smell of smoke, along with an odd, unpleasant odor throughout the room. This created a serious health concern for my children. In addition, the beds were in unacceptable condition. One bed had visible stains, and the other had burn marks on the sheets. I took photos of these issues and can provide them upon request. To make matters worse, I placed the privacy/Do Not Disturb sign on the door, yet someone still entered my room while we were gone. This is extremely concerning and a violation of privacy. I have stayed at many hotels, and no other hotel has entered my room while I was actively staying there, especially with the privacy sign displayed. Between the health risk, unsanitary conditions, and breach of privacy, this stay was far below acceptable standards. Due to this experience, I will not be staying at Red Roof Inn again. I am requesting a refund or appropriate compensation for this experience and look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
