Hartford Marriott Downtown

Clean and bright. Good food and coffee options on site. Excercise facilities had good choices. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Rooms were in great condition and clean.

Limited location, although right downtown. Driving around the hotel was very inconvenient. Other than that place was clean and very friendly staff.

Everything about the Marriott was fabulous. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food in the L Bar was excellent. The property is pristine. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect location in a very walkable city.

The parking garage is a little squirrelly and tight.

The location was good for what we needed to reach the Bushnell Theater. It was also clean and we got to use the pool which no one was in so that was a plus.

Nothing really around it, few restaurants. While checking in only 1 person checking and out. There was a line and phones ringing, prob needed another employee at that time. She took the phone call instead of just placing on hold and taking care of the many customers that were waiting in the line. Also paid xtra $ for a view of the river, but we got a view of the street instead. King room was a little on the smaller side, but it was fine for the one night we stayed. Oh and Starbucks wasn’t open until the next day..bummer lol

2024, and still have the worst wifi and the tv didnt work bc the internet wasnt strong enough…. I asked for help, the guy said… oh well. And front desk says no ethernet only wifi…

Stayed at the wonderful Hartford Marriott Downtown and from a business traveler perspective and a titanium Elite member and can't remember a better hotel experience. The checkin process was professional and well mannered, courtesy of Denisha on our first trip and Joyce on our second trip, The genuine niceness of the hotel team we interacted with from front desk, concierge lounge to breakfast is a testament to management's governance process of hiring great personnel. This hotel recognizes Bonvoy elite member and provides upgrades based on availability. The free breakfast buffet for Elite members was one of the best we ever which included great cook-to-order eggs, and fresh baked goods. The concierge lounge had great night time hors-d'oeuvres and bagged snacks. It is great that it is open 24-hours a day with snacks and drinks. The lounge is extremely luxurious with great views. The hotel rooms are great with either water views of the river or great downtown skyline views. The rooms are extraordinarily clean and most rooms have new beds.

the location was perfect, right next to the convention center for the event I attended . And special thanks to Gretchen for getting me a room early, that was HUGE!!!
