Sherwood Inn

The room was large and had a relatively good view of a part if the lake.

Climbing approx. 28 stairs with suitcases. No security lock on room door. No microwave. Toilet not flushing well. Bathroom door locks from the outside.

Beautiful location on the lake, friendly staff, comfortable room with fireplace, beach, hiking trails and excellent kitchen.

Loved the location, right at the beach with access to the lake, a small beach and some kanoes that are free to use. Our room was nice too, with a patio overlooking the lake.

We didn't have hot water on our first night but this was fortunately resolved fairly quickly. Rooms could do with a refresh (particularly the carpets) as they felt a little dated. AC was very noisy so would have been difficult to sleep with had we been there in summer. The breakfast buffet is better skipped. Tasteless pancakes, dry scrambled eggs, ...

A l carte breakfast would be nice

I loved the venue. And the breakfast was worth every penny. Staff were lovely We felt lucky to be there.

I found the heater to be noisy but the room was comfortable.

Loved the property location and the property itself, it was very clean quaint and picturesque. I would have loved to been able to stay longer however it was mothers day so I had to leave to go home so the family could get together for Mothers Day. I was visiting friends for long time family friends about 3 miles from your location.

Everything was great. I would recommend you offer softer Tissues in the bathrooms. The ones there are hard and more papery than other tissue brands. Other than that, everything was above average. Loved the bathrobes. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The variety of tea was great, as I do not really care for powdered milk in coffee. The Peppermint Tea was a good trade off for the coffee.
