Hot tub wasnt hot

This place could use a makeover or an update. I understand not a lot of cash flow, but great presentation makes a lot of difference

the service was exceptional. Very helpful and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the service!!

This property is normally clean and comfortable (have stayed here many times en route to Denver). But this last visit was a disaster - not sure if it’s new mgmt or what, but surely front desk clerk, bed wasn’t made, no ice available, and just overall not a very nice experience.

Good hotel

We were going to stay in Richfield for the 1a high school basketball state tournament. We decided to stay in Salina because the rates were half the price…but you get what you pay for. We were satisfied only because of the cheap price. The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was barely warm. The breakfast was mediocre when it was stocked, but it wasn’t well stocked on some days (though it was okay on other days). There were rarely towels in the pool area. The staff was friendly but scarcely available to help. They also had an issue with our payment through Expedia, but we sorted it out with Expedia’s help. Mostly the icy pool was the deal breaker for us not being likely to return here again.

The location is convenient to the family I was visiting.

The room was not clean; dirty, wadded up toilet paper on the bathroom floor. The stair well carpet was very dirty and did not get vacuumed during the time we were there. The lobby area was not clean; their was a coffee spill on the counter the first day that not get cleaned- it was there the next morning. The heater did not work in the room. The pool was extremely cold. The hot tub was barely warm and visibly dirty. The front desk staff was unable to make a key when I checked in, I had to wait for someone else to come in to do it. The bath tub had no stopper so I could not give my grandson a bath. My daughter also had a room and the power kept going off. Staff would flip a breaker but as soon as she turned on the bathroom light, the power went out again. This happened several times but they kept telling her it was fixed. Their t.v. did not work at all. Their bed had chewing tobacco in it- it was a lot and very gross! Staff came to change the sheets but the 'new' comforter was stained. Finally, they decided to give her a new room.
