Duangjitt Resort, Phuket

I have stayed at other places in Patong but this is the best, an oasis where you can escape the hustle and bustle in beautiful surroundings. It's location is great for walking to beach, night market, bar, food and other access. Like other reviews I read prior to booking the reception staff were least helpful but rest of staff were fantastic. Tour booking arranged great deals and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate for all cultures. Business feedback: The food vans and restaurants in the resort were quiet. With cheap food only a walk away, they should consider discounting their prices to get business. The open bathroom and toilet in the rooms is not family friendly and could easily be fixed with some simple renovations. They would fill the place if they did that rather than trying to get you to upgrade to a more expensive room. Happily recommend this resort. Miss the great pool staff already!

very green, perfect tropical garden. very peacefull. perfect for family and for everyone.

The Resort is very spacious with a very big garden at the entrance. The various buildings are nicely located between trees and 3 swimming pools. The staff is bringing you swiftly to the accommodation using the golf buggies.

Resort was fantastic, location was too- close enough to the sea & the town without being surrounded by clubs and massage parlours etc

The best thing of this hotel is its beautiful swimming pool. However the rooms are old and need refurbishment hence lower your expectations from 5 star to 4 star.

Great resort only problem was not having English speaking tv channels No HBO or movie channels Only Russian and all Chinese and Thai Staff lovely Food great Would go back again and will recommend to people

Great open spaces with plenty of trees and the pool is amazing! The only downside was the room was dated and the combined shower/bath. The shower head not attached properly so the water pressure was not ideal. however this was only a minor issue so did not raise it with the staff. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is set back from the noisy street and once inside it feels very relaxing. The main pool is amazing as was the layout of the hotel. The grounds were well maintained. The room was ok, but they could have had a couch to sit on as it was a lot of wasted space. Breakfast was good. However the reception staff were dreadful, the lady on guest relations was the worst. She needs to be re-trained. The bed was awful as it was too hard, but once we complained they added a topper to soften the bed. The cleaners were very slow to do you room.

For a five star hotel, the service is below standard. No concierge, had to go hunting for staff in the restaurant. Getting a taxi means they drop you on the side of the road and you flag one down.
