The place is amazing, a room with the beach was perfect, and it is a few steps from the room. For those who eat kosher, they can provide a solution. The service of the staff was amazing. Perfect place!!!

As soon as you make a booking, the hotel will contact you to arrange a flight. There is no flight on all days, we had an option on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, you have to plan it...

The villa residence was somptuous. Private accesss to the beach made early morning walks, and snorkeling easy. The butler service was incresibly convenient. Food was top level, amd spa services of extremely high quality. Having kayaks available on all beaches was super convenient The surfing instructor were very competent, as I managed to take some waves on my forst ever attempt. But the setting of the remote island made it a truly memorable and unique experience. The feeling of being somewhere remote is very rare

Internet connection upgrade would be good, but this is as well part of the charm of the island. Land erosion is an issue to monitor, and the seaweed proliferation needs to be controlled.

Everything was perfect, from the room to the food and the staff, friendly and discreet. The beaches are amazing and during a week it happened multiple times that we were the only humans there for hours. But it’s in the details that FS Desrosches really stands out and makes your stay simply amazing.

A daily fresh fruit basket in the room would be much appreciated.

FS Desroches is easily he nicest hotel my wife and I have ever stayed in - and a level (if not a few levels) above the FS Mahe. From the moment we stepped off the plane to the moment we unfortunately had to say goodbye, the attention to detail, the helpful and friendly staff and the incredibly well maintained facilities and unrivalled location make FS Desroches a truly special place that we will be visiting again.
