Fantastic weeks skiing before Skiing. The hotel is 30 second walk from the slopes, great food and incredibly friendly staff. We will be back!

"Fitz Roy Val Thorens"

A nice hotel in a great location that is wildly overpriced. But we got an end of season good deal so gave it a try. Very comfortable, nice room, heated ski boot dryers in the ski lockers! But the service was spotty at best. We had to ask for water four times at dinner the first night. One morning at breakfast we finally gave up waiting for coffee and headed for the slopes without. Food was excellent but service very slow in the dining room. Wine list is crazy overpriced. Only one bottle less than 50 Euros on the whole list! We enjoyed our stay, but can't afford to stay there during the season.
