"Decent hotel Bad Bad Bad Location"

The Hotel was clean but we ordered room service twice and got sick both times. We asked for wake up calls twice, they woke us up 20 minutes late the first time and forgot to wake us up the second time. We could not figure out how to get the Air conditioning to work properly. The people were friendly, and the room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV, the micro fridge and the plumbing worked well.

"Recent Visit"

Location was terrible. No hot water in the room and after requesting it, it didn't get done. Pick up of the airport offered but not provided. Late check out due to a flight delayed, but made us pay for another half a day, even tho we checked in at 11pm as opposed to 3pm. Staff was friendly, but the overall accommodations were really really poor. Taxi requested broke down twice. Both taxis that we took, it happened the same thing.

Vi bestilte efter at det skulle være handicap venlig og i beskrivelsen stod der adgang for kørestole. Da vi ankom til hotellet der var trappe ind, da vi skulle til morgenmad på 4 sal der var det problem at elevatoren gik kun til 3 sal, værelset det var utæt og som kørestolsbruger så kan man lige komme ud på badeværelset der er ikke nogen stol så man kan sidde at bade på.

"A typical Indian experience"

Typical Indian experience. Friendly staff, but the facility needed improvement. We were there during a cold spell which is unusual and they are not so prepared. However they did have a oil heater in the room to help, but then no way to tightly close the single pane window. We enjoyed a nice breakfast buffet upgrade, but ended up in a smoking room when we requested a non-smoking. Noise is often a challenge in India and this hotel had its share. Although in a more quiet area of Delhi, they are on a block of motorcycle shops and some very loud dogs that barked for what seemed like hours on end. However the hotel was also within earshot of the Karol Gurdwara and this sent out lovely chanting and prayers. I might stay there again, but would most likely pick a more out of the way place just to get some more quiet.

Overall, the hotel was fine. Our room was very clean and the front desk service was helpful. You are provided with all the basic things you would expect in a hotel (tv, mini-fridge, slippers, soap, towels, etc.) The restaurant was average/good. The shower in our room did not work very well. The hotel is next to impossible for auto drivers to find if they don't know where it is. I would recommend landmarking something nearby and being prepared to give your auto driver directions. Even with the address card, it was difficult to find. We stayed for two nights before returning home and it was more than adequate. A good location and you can walk to the metro. Unless you are set on having a private car, I would negotiate a day rate with the auto drivers on the main road instead of booking a taxi for sight-seeing through the hotel. You will save money this way.

"modest front desk managers"

although we got a double-bed-room for a 3-Adult booking we got a good deal and rest all was wonderful. all the three front desk managers we interacted were very modest and humble. complementary breakfast has good variety. locality is very convinient for daily trips, marketing, metro, etc. we would prefer the same place any time we visit Delhi.

"Very friendly staff and owners."

Very friendly staff and owners. Took me early morning to a nearby hospital, where a kidney stone was diagnosed. Visited me in hospital and brought me back after 4, days. India is very noisy, but ear plugs provide relief for sleeping! Internet available free for guests. A restaurant upstairs. A variety of small shops in nearby streets and a post office within 5, minutes on foot. If I return to Delhi, I would stay there again.

"Not a bad choice among thousands.............."

The service is good but the overall outset is that of an old building, furnitures, linings etc. There are several better hotels than this with better daily rates. Airport pick-up is timely and without hitches. Give youself a try if there is no other alternatives.
