Howard Johnson by Wyndham Downtown Kamloops

Location was ok

Dirty and uncomfortable. The mattresses were lumpy and didn’t fit the bases. Sheets were stained. Bathroom was disgusting, black mould and dirt everywhere. Needs deep cleaning/bleaching.

Breakfast included

Faced the back alley, which had people going through the dumpster and loitering. No face cloths.

The location was good for our needs and very easy to get to from the highway. Close driving distance to shops and the hospital almost across the street. Sheets and towel were clean.

Breakfast was a disappointment. The only hot thing was a make yourself waffle. There was no fruit or anything fresh. Toast\bagel, cereal, couple of flavors of yogurt and the waffle. End of breakfast. Room was old and run down, very much in need of an upgrade. Front desk person was friendly, but she was doing too many jobs at the same time and seemed very stressed. Wanted us to pay an extra charge for a twenty minute "early" check in.

Location was good

The beds were old. Box spring was broken. Could have been a lot cleaner. Baseboards and corners were dirty. You can hear the foot steps above. Pictures show a really nice place. It was not what I expected

We like the location and the size of the room provided for us.

Some upgrading of the walls and floors, and since the light outside is so close to our window, change to a wider curtain that would cover the whole window. So people can sleep well instead of saying a daylight outside.
