"I was there for the annual photography festival, and the hotel was relatively suited for that."

Breakfast, location

They had promised me, in writing, a room NOT on the ground floor, but that is what they gave me, and within an arm's length of the street where people passed by all day and all night, making a lot of noise, so I did not get a full night's sleep at any point. Also, very unusually, especially for a room that large, there was no desk - no workspace at all. And neither CNN nor BBC World on the TV.
