Metro Hotel Dublin Airport

Das Hotel liegt nur wenige km vom Flughafen entfernt, ist sehr gut mit dem Auto erreichbar und verfügt über Parkplätze direkt am Hotel.

Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden, allerdings nur eine Nacht und ohne Frühstück im Haus. Es war gut, dass wir schon um 12 Uhr einchecken konnten, damit wir den Mietwagen rechtzeitig zurückgeben konnten.

Der Übernachtungspreis war kein Schnäppchen, aber in Flughafennähe der günstigste.

The room was airconditioned and cool, a somewhat unusual thing in Ireland to my experience. It was the perfect place for a last night before our flight home.

Nothing, a great room for a quiet night, grabbed a quick dinner next door which was one of the tastiest meals, definitely recommend to your visitors!

The receptionists were friendly and helpful and even organised a taxi because I was late for the shuttle and missed it. The shuttle leaves exactly on time. The room was absolutely silent, the sound proofing is excellent and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The hotel bar was good with an excellent Irish barman. The menu looked good and reasonable although I did not actually try the food, having eaten before I arrived and with my departure too early for breakfast.

Getting there with a car is a real problem. I had heavy bags so went to drop them off before returning my rental. The hotel abuts residential apartments, and parking is really at a premium. The receptionist allowed me to leave the car in a no parking area reserved for the shuttle long enough to drop the bags, but I found it very stressful not being able to park legally.
